On January 28, 2025, we successfully kicked off the first session of our training workshops on recovery and resilience to forest fires in Alto Palancia.

🌱 Throughout the session, we explored key topics such as:
✅ Forest management and the shortage of engineers in the sector.
✅ Causes and consequences of the Alto Palancia fire and the impact of the DANA.
✅ Nature-based solutions for fire prevention and mitigation.
✅ Planning and evacuation strategies in emergency situations.
✅ The importance of community resilience and the role of youth in territorial recovery.

💡 Through interactive activities such as Kahoot, simulations, and case studies, participants reflected on how to strengthen landscape management and improve fire preparedness.

🤝 We greatly appreciate the active participation of students from the Forest Management Program at IES Alto Palancia, as well as the valuable contributions of experts in the field.
