Impact
This project ensures that children in need can start their school day with a full stomach, improving their focus, energy, and overall well-being. It aims to deliver on the European Child Guarantee to provide all children in Europe with at least one healthy meal a day. Fighting childhood poverty empowers future generations by providing them with the resources and opportunities to thrive, fostering healthier, more equitable, and resilient communities.

Bammetje Mee is part of the Child Poverty Alliance in the Netherlands. In 2024, 264,000 children still live in poverty in the Netherlands. In the alliance, more than 300 organisations join forces to end child poverty by 2030.
