On March 25, 2025, we had the opportunity to organize a pilot day at Punto Luce – L’Aquila, a socio-educational center dedicated to providing growth opportunities for young people in challenging contexts.

Activities:
– Find Someone Who… – A fun icebreaker that encouraged participants to interact, learn each other’s names, and discover interesting facts about their peers.
– Negative Brainstorming – In small groups, participants explored real-life challenges by listing negative aspects, discussing common themes, and brainstorming possible solutions.
– My Visual Board – A creative session where participants used drawings and collages to represent their visions, dreams, and goals for the future.
– Final Discussion – A wrap-up moment to gather impressions, introduce our platform, and discuss the concept of resilience.

Results:
– Open and meaningful conversations emerged, fostering empathy and deeper connections.
– Participants remained engaged throughout the day and expressed a strong interest in future meetings.
– Educators at Punto Luce valued the opportunity to offer something different and reflective to the young participants.

Why are these activities important?
Creating safe spaces for young people to discuss their experiences and aspirations is crucial. By combining dialogue, creativity, and structured activities, we helped foster self-expression, critical thinking, and a sense of community.
