Within the framework of  “RESILIENT EUROPE” project supported by the European Union, 2 pilots of “Leadership School” were successfully conducted, bringing together approximately 50 active and purposeful young individuals from Zakarpattia region, Ukraine!

Uzhhorod: “Youth Hub”

The first “Leadership School” took place in Uzhhorod and gathered active youth – young activists, school and university students – who aspire to contribute to positive changes in their country. Thanks to youth experts, participants not only deepened their knowledge of leadership but also gained practical skills in decision-making, strategic thinking, effective communication and teamwork. 

The energetic atmosphere of discussions and practical exercises inspired us with faith in the great potential of our youth.

Kamianske Community: Youth Center “D-Diievi” 

Inspired by the success in Uzhhorod, we traveled to the Kamianske community, where we were warmly welcomed by energetic and inquisitive students from local schools. Young people actively engaged in team activities, demonstrating not only their leadership potential but also analytical skills, creativity and an innovative approach to problem-solving. Second training block was dedicated to media-literacy, which helped young people learn to critically evaluate information and resist digital manipulation.

Implementation of “Leadership Schools” has once again confirmed that leadership has no geographical limitations, and that every young Ukrainian has the potential to become an agent of change in their community, especially in times of crisis and future post-crisis recovery. We are proud of our youth and believe that the acquired knowledge and skills will become a solid foundation for their leadership growth and the formation of a community of conscious citizens who will build a bright future for Ukraine.
